  4. --[ CATDISK V7.01 ]------------------------------------------------------------

  6. CATMGR: Copying/Moving catalog entries from the catalog on the right half of
  7.         the screen to the catalog on the left side would result lost records in
  8.         the target summary file.  Fixed.  Note that if the catalog on the right
  9.         side of the screen is the target (i.e. going from left to right), this
  10.         problem will not occur.

  14. ALL:     Added support for summary file comments.  Adjusted screens and reports
  15.          to accomodate same.
  16.  
  17. ALL:     Raised maximum program limitations to 4000 disks per catalog and
  18.          65534 files (standard CATDISK) or 999363 files (DPMI CATDISK version).
  19.  
  20. ALL:     Added a /NOHIGH option to cause CATDISK to draw borders, etc. using
  21.          low ASCII characters.  Allows for cleaner displays when running on
  22.          foreign language systems (eg. supporting oriental systems).

  24. CATDISK: We now have a DPMI-compliant version of CATDISK (CATDISKD.EXE), which
  25.          can use extended memory on 286 machines and above for higher capacity.

  27. CATDISK: Added a custom reporting facility to the program.  You can now specify
  28.          which items to include, how they will appear in the report, and how
  29.          they will be sorted.  Virtually infinite flexibility.

  31. CATDISK: Added quick search feature to many of the screen-based reports.

  33. CATDISK: Added /SLx parameter to allow setting of initial screen-based summary
  34.          report format.

  36. CATDISK: Grouped /SD /CO and /SDCO command line options into one /Lx parameter.

  39.          cataloging operations.  Both can be changed via CDISKCFG.EXE.

  43. CATDISK: Added /NOBLINK parameter to make the arrows on the menus static (they
  44.          normally blink).

  46. CATDISK: Added /ALLORNONE parameter to activate "Disk Only or All Files Read"
  47.          prompt when cataloging a disk.

  49. CATDISK: Added /NOLIST parameter to disable the scrolling list of files that is
  50.          displayed as CATDISK updates a catalog file.

  52. CATDISK: You may now press <Esc> to abort a process during disk-read operations
  53.          when cataloging/re-cataloging a disk or showing a disk's directory.

  55. CATDISK: Eliminated the internal disk cache. If you require disk cacheing for
  56.          faster operation, we recommend that you use one of the many available
  57.          TSR programs designed specifically for this purpose.

  59. DUPCLEAN: New!  Capable of reading a catalog file to determine duplicate
  60.           files, allows you to tag the desired files to erase, performs the
  61.           necessary deletions (after prompting you for the appropriate disks),
  62.           and catalogs the disks on the fly.

  64. DISKFILL: You can now specify how you would like the directories sorted via
  65.           via command line options.
  66.  
  67. DISKFILL: Added a list of disk volumes to automatically eliminate from the
  68.           list of disks to recommend when backfilling disks.
  69.  
  70. DISKFILL: Added /CATDISKD parameter to have DISKFILL use the DPMI-compliant
  71.           extended mode version of CATDISK (CATDISKD.EXE) to catalog floppies
  72.           after files have been copied to them.
  73.  
  74. DISKFILL: You can now change the target drive during a copy/move operation at
  75.           any of the "disk change" prompts along the way.
  76.  
  77. CATLOOK: Added "Files By Subdirectory" report.
  78.  
  79. CDISKCFG: Eliminated the 4 "canned" settings for disks/files per catalog.  You
  80.           can now specify any number for either setting in increments of 1.

  82. CDISKCFG: You can now set initial option settings in CATDISK and DISKFILL that
  83.           were previously accessible only by command line options or via the
  84.           Settings & Toggles menu in CATDISK.
